SAMHSA's Center for Financing Reform and Innovation (CFRI) released a new report on Community-Initiated Care in Behavioral Health: Exploring Funding Mechanisms for Substance Use Disorders. The report and webinar examine existing community-initiated care (CIC) organizations to better understand the strategies and funding mechanisms used to sustain substance use disorder (SUD) services in their communities. Leveraging existing resources and trained community members through CIC organizations can complement and extend SUD services and help mitigate service gaps.
This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee,
Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
