2022–2025 Religious Beliefs and Substance Use among Adolescents is a SAMHSA data spotlight examining the relationship between the importance of religious beliefs and substance use among adolescents ages 12–17. It draws on the 2022–2025 National Surveys on Drug Use and Health and includes information about alcohol use, nicotine vaping, and illicit drug use. Charts compare substance use among adolescents who consider religious beliefs very important with those who do not, including comparisons by sex.
