Product Details
Name Your Worry invites users to name a worry and then write about or draw it, providing a simple starting point for talking about concerns. A suggested audience is school-age children, approximately ages 6 and up, as well as teens and adults, with adult guidance for younger children. For ages 6–9, a parent or teacher could help a child describe or draw a worry about starting school, sleeping alone, or making friends. For ages 10–12, concerns about schoolwork, friendships, or family changes can provide opportunities to discuss what feels difficult and what support might help. Teens and adults could use it as a journaling prompt or in counseling to explore worries about relationships, responsibilities, or upcoming changes. Teachers, counselors, and caregivers can follow the activity with gentle questions about what the person can influence, one manageable next step, and whom they could ask for help.
