  Tennessee ADAT-DUI Outcome Evaluation 
This book outlines outcome evaluations of alcohol and drug abuse treatment where ADAT funds are used. The Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment (ADAT) Fund was established in the Department of Health to pay the cost of alcohol and drug addiction treatment for persons by order of a General Sessions or Criminal Court judge. DUI offenders convicted of a second (or subsequent) DUI offense or for driving with a suspended, revoked, or cancelled license are eligible to participate in ADAT if the judge orders them to in-patient alcohol and drug addiction treatment and deems them indigent. Complied by the University of Memphis in partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services.

2004-2007 Outcomes Evaluation Report

This report examines outcomes for consumers admitted to substance abuse treatment or recovery support services from April 2005 to January 2007 through the Tennessee Access to Recovery (TN-ATR) Project. The outcomes evaluation, prepared by the Institute for Substance Abuse Treatment Evaluation (I-SATE) at Th e University of Memphis, presents treatment and recovery outcomes in terms of various performance indicators at discharge and 6 months after admission. These outcomes reflect the positive impact of treatment and recovery upon consumers’ substance abuse, as well as other performance and quality of life indicators.
