	Mind Over Matter:  Teachers Guide This is the teacher's guide for the "Mind Over Matter" series. This exciting new neuroscience education series, developed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a component of the National Institutes of Health, is designed to encourage youngsters in grades 5-9 to learn about the biological effects of drug abuse on the body and the brain.  Download Teachers Guide along with Methamphetamine and Nicotine supplements.
	Mind Over Matter: The Brain's Response to Steroids  brochure/poster Designed for use by middle school students, this series of brochures provides scientifically based information about how drugs act in the brain and body. The back of each brochure is a colorful poster.  Shows how anabolic steroids can cause liver damage and cancer and weaken the immune system. (Poster - Nerve Fibers in the Spinal Cord)
	Mind Over Matter: The Brain's Response to Hallucinogens  brochure/poster Explains how hallucinogens affect the brain's communication centers as well as its ability to control sleep and emotions. (Poster - Spinal Cord Neuron Grown in a Petri Dish)
	Mind Over Matter: The Brain's Response to Stimulants  brochure/poster Explores how stimulants change the way nerve cells communicate and affect neurotransmission. (Poster - Nerve Cells in the Cerebellum)
	Mind Over Matter: Brain's Response to Nicotine  brochure/poster Explains scientifically how nicotine affects the entire body. Describes how the drug acts directly on the heart to change heart rate and blood pressure. Discusses dependency, treatment, and effects of long-term nicotine use. 	Mind Over Matter: The Brain's Response to Methamphetamine  brochure/poster This poster contains scientific information on how methamphetamine acts in the body and brain, with an emphasis on its harmful effects. It is designed to provide this information in a format that will use drug information to teach science and engender student interest in science, while also providing messages of the harmful effects of methamphetamine.
