TAADAS Annual Holiday Open House
December 11, 2003

If you missed this year's open house, you missed a great one!  There was loads of great food.  Back by popular demand for this year was the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Wagon!  And don't forget the great prizes donated by TAADAS Members and supporters.  

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Voice of Recovery Awards.  The Voice of Recovery Award is the highest honor given by TAADAS.  It is given annually to honor those who have made a significant impact during the previous year in the battle against Tennessee's number one health problem - substance abuse.  Mike Herrmann said he was honored to receive the Voice of Recovery Award.   Joyce Jones from New Hope Recovery Center and several members of Dee Francis' family were on hand to accept Dee's award.  Each of them were visibly touched by the award.  In addition to the awards, Mike Herrmann was  given an honorary Individual Membership and New Hope Recovery Center was given an honorary Sustaining Membership.
